Mo Yan is a Nobel Prize writer, and I think his speeches are valuable and beneficial. In the very beginning, I has decided to use golden colour and roman style typeface to make the three speech collections more classic and weighty.
And the essay collections, which are different from the author’s novels, are a little lighter, so I just used some bright and fresh colours. The shape on the each cover is from one of the Chinese character of the book title. The three characters are 墙, 水, and 秋.
