TED-Ed | Where Do New Words Come From?

An animated lesson from TED-Ed on the origins of words.
We freely admit that we are word-loving word-nerds at Together, so we had a lot of fun on this TED-Ed about the origins of words, and how new words make it into English, and other languages. The educator, Marcel Danesi, is a Professor of Semiotics and Linguistic Anthropology at the University of Toronto.
If you want to know more about the TED-Ed project check out their site here. There are lots of fantastic lessons on their YouTube channel, too.
