As part of type foundry Playtype’s ongoing "TYPE PLAY" series, we were invited to contribute an entry for display in their Copenhagen courtyard. There were no creative restrictions, barring a format and a pre-selected typeface.
For this months submission, we wanted to pressure test the medium itself and focus on visually representing our current, ever-changing daily challenges. The lines between being truly Online and Offline are becoming less disparate as we enter into a new year still faced with the global pandemic.
The billboard itself displays Offline however when viewed using the Artivive App the messaging continually shifts between two states, displaying both the Online and Offline messages.
It is now on display to the public from 09/02/21 - 22/03/21 in Playtype’s office courtyard in Copenhagen and can be interacted with digitally here using the Artivive App, give it a go.
