Logo Redesign for non-profit in Rochester, NY

I signed up as a volunteer graphic designer through Catchafire. Catchafire is a place where non-profits can post their design and marketing needs. It could be a logo, a brochure, PowerPoint, advice, website, etc. The volunteers then "apply" for the work. Once selected, the work begins.

I was extremely fortunate to be chosen by Restoration Rochester (New York) for my first Catchafire "job."

I was tasked with revising their logo (seen in the first slide) and then using that in future marketing materials.

I produced many variations and went back and forth with the client until they were happy with the final result. As was I!

Catchafire is a great place for those designers and marketing professionals, who love what they do, to help others. Cool, huh!

The skyline is the skyline of Rochester, New York and the "flower" is the city symbol. The bridge is the bridge over the Genesee River, but it represents the bridge out of poverty (and spans "restoration"), which is the service RR offers to the community.

I created this logo in Adobe InDesign and output various file formats through Photoshop.

Thank you.
