FLEABAG - Phoebe Waller-Bridge - Digital art portrait
Artwork inspired in the amazing and funny series "Fleabag" from Amazon Prime.
The idea for the poster was to paint the main actress with this expression that defines totally her general mood. The palette is similar to the original poster, a perfect contrast between cold and warm tones (for the background and the character).
The protagonist has his loved pet in her head and she is inside of a cup of tea, very related to the series too. For the background I made the magnolia flower simulating London wallpaper (as in the show).
Also, I wanted to transmit a feeling of "Earth swallow me".Fleabag is a "broke-rules" women who feel don't fit in this world and she just wants to disappear.
The work is all done digitally (oil technique) in Photoshop and Wacom tablet.
