Follow your drum | Prototype

The idea was to create an interactive light path. A drum, prepared with a fog machine, will be placed in front of a row of LED tubes. The visitors can interact with it by hitting the drum. This event will make the LED light path change. All LED lights will light up while smoke rings come out of the drum. 

The first Prototyp was made with a Piezo Sensor attached to an Arduino. The serial communication was build with Max/MSP where the trigger started different video outputs. The second Prototyp was produced more advanced. We were using a Controlling Mini to control the LED Tubes and built an actual smoke gun attached to a fog machine.
