UI/UX WebApp AlaMesa Rest. Admin Dashboard

Context

Alamesa's Delivery service was born as a test to deliver cakes at home on Mother's Day but it grew so quickly that we established it as another product of alamesacuba.com

This product quickly grew from 3 restaurants in Havana City providing 37 products to 120 in the whole Island providing 6199 products in 1 year.

The problem with this was that we had to leave a service created and designed for a special day as permanent, with all the limitations that this may have.

Little by little, we have been adapting and improving the system in production without having to disable it for the user.

This Delivery service did not have an admin for restaurants to manage customer orders, everything was done via email and/or text.

The problem

Not having an admin unloads a lot of responsibility and time on our work team, and blurs us from more important tasks.

The goal here was to create a WebApp Dashboard so that restaurants can view sales stats, manage their orders and products, as well as edit general information of the business.

We did a beta test with 4 restaurants to collect information, then refine the solution and continue to wide up the beta with 10 more. Then we repeat this process until we were comfortable to continue to add more features and open it to the whole database.

For this particular project we use Material Design with Vue.js and Vuetify as a framework.
Although I am moving to Figma this design I did and will probably continue it in Adobe XD.

My role: Product Design
