Wiki Portrait Oracles
This is the project about gender and racial imbalance, and vulnerable human memory, which is more of a reconstruction of acquired Information rather than recording objectively. This Oracles package includes a random figure's portrait on Wiki articles. Some of the articles include biased interpretation, and some include controversy. The oracle is satirizing current online circumstances for acquiring Information by utilizing *Thatcher illusion, a phenomenon where it becomes hard to recognize local feature changes in an upside-down face, despite changes being obvious in an upright face. The act of you pulling out a card and interpreting words in combination represents the process by which we acquire knowledge and accumulate it in our memories.
