As I was browsing different dinosaurs to choose for one of my Inktober illustrations, I came across this curious name "Microraptor". Did it mean a tiny dinosaur? A small Velociraptor? The name captured me right away, so I started to look for more information about it.

It happened to be one of the avian dinosaurs, or in normal language - bird predecessors.

As scientists say, it supposedly had dark blue or black iridescent feathers both on its front and back legs as well as on its whole body and the tip of its tail!

Also it could possibly fly.

It also had teeth, and was rather an opportunist feeder, eating plants and animals alike.

A four-winged, long-tailed bird with teeth!

Such a cool dinosaur!
