This is the cover of UEDA ZINE, and the concept is "detour". For this, I drew four rough illustrations in black and white. I decided to proceed with the illustration of a single migratory bird resting, so I created the next version with different colors and placement of the migratory bird.
It was hard to decide, but I decided to proceed with the final version.


The more I drew, the more realistic the surface of the water became, and I needed to bring it back to a "painting" look.
Simple is beautiful, but it's always difficult to get it just right.
