I started with copying an image of Ironman with a rough outline.
I then added a first layer of colour and just kept adding layers of colours over and over. I think I finished with around 17 layers of colour until I decided to call it quits. The next few pics in the sequence will show the colour layers being added.
Instead of painting in a background, I found a pic of New York and added some filters to make it look it had been painted.
