Making ‘wait’ worthwhile with creative coding
This project is inspired by the waiting dispenser machines in Basel. From my personal experience, waiting in queues in public spaces such as the post office, permit office, SBB (Basel Train Station), etc. could be longer than expected. Therefore, my aim was to add the element of play with the help of creative coding to turn ‘waiting in queue’ fun. Hence, with the urge to explore and experiment with the new media + Processing, my agenda was to combine traditional and modern techniques to seek the possibility of new design. To understand its potential in everyday scenarios, I believe this contribution can help people engage in games, making their wait a worthwhile.
