Kande Beach, a resort and camp site located in Nkhata Bay on the northern shore of Lake Malawi required two new logo's. One logo was their main identity while the other was an identity for t-shirts worn by their staff.
Below is the journey from scribbles to the final product.
It all started with a scribble!
This first concept was subtle and aimed at protraying the calmness and tranquility of Lake Malawi, the lake of stars.
This concept was a bit wilder, trying to portray the fun the lake provides for holiday makers.
This final concept brought the first and second concepts together.
The lake was taken out of the logo as the name adequately deals with that. The colour and some details were also stripped out. The client settled on this as the final identity.
