Late 2019. Out of the need to create, I gathered some friends, each one expert in their craft, to create the Hip Hop collective Raw Cutz. Our goal? Simple. To give back something to our culture. To generate content: music videos, photography, design and more. To give Panamanian rap music proper visuals.

 

Our first video was for the song "CUIDAO" by Orgen, Panamanian MC. This song was made from scratch as I picked the sample that was then used by Kid Sanchez, Panamanian beatmaker and producer, to create the beat for the track. 

 

Eldis Ruiz, Panamanian filmmaker, has been a key asset to our collective as he's in charge of the cinematography of our videos while I direct them.

 

Last but not least, Alexis Jaramillo aka Exis, gives support to our crew by bringing all of us together and supporting with the production design.
