Cocoon by MarkoMiles 2018 .... a winter babywearing cover that is windproof, waterproof and warm.

My goal was to create an entry level product for consumers that was price assessable, easy to wear and small enough to fit into a day bag.

The fabric is a three in one design removing the need to custom print three seperate fabrics.

Delving deeper into sustainable fashion concepts I created a zero waste pattern. The problem solving of element really got my brain firing! 

The Cocoon would be my first wholesale product. With the rise in mainstream babywearing, I envisioned the Cocoon placed alongside babycarriers in every baby store. I wanted to create a compact packaging that was easy to shelf.

On the completion of the manufacturing I created a short video to show customers how to use the product.

And the outcome was beautiful & functional.
