Rusalka (similar to mermaid) is a mystical personage of Eastern European Folklore. They protect forests, fields and waters, and can be malicious towards humans. Yet, the innocent and noble people are often rewarded by Rusalkas, who know and live by the secrets and magic of nature Being a photographer/an artist, making changes and looking for possibilities and creating different is a difficult task. I love fantasies and unreal myths and I like to bring them to reality through my art and photography. I am so happy to make it possible and so grateful to the people who support me to make it happen. I would like to thank my brother (Dil Johnson) and sister(Shyamini Dil) who were there from the beginning to project completion, my crazy model Irena Mohini who was very happy to be a mermaid and the make up artist Femy Antony who did a wonderful job. I am so happy that the years of collection of shells from the beaches I visited were used for this projects costume.
