A font handcrafted with old cassette tape. The shape is based on the legendary condensed Futura. It was made for the typography class of Dipl. Des. Ralph von Wedel at Rheinische Fachhochschule Köln.

 

Basic goal of this font is the symbiosis of the old techniques of typo and the rather new technology of audio cassettes made available for modern digital design. The result is a wonderful retro headline font with heavy letters for powerful words.
