Silver and gold Pinwheels
I wanted to use the technique of folding to create ways of communication motion and that were also attractive. It's form is dynamic and as an object is reminiscent of sweet childhood memories.
The idea arises from folding paper based on geometric grids, until I developed a pattern which through varying the size, material, and color I have adapted into a piece of jewelry. I like the idea of getting the most out of a form. The result are pinwheels that are similar to schematic flowers.
