Poptree, established in the year 2014, is the distributor, supplier and exporter of building materials & tools. They own the brand POP IN. To come up with a smart and interesting way to package their screws, was quite a challenge for our team.

The first thing that screams out from the package is the design of the screw, with a red/green head, red/green tail and the blue letters in between. The font used in Italics is such that it evokes the feel of a spiral, twisting out to the pointed end in red/green, standing out effectively against the dull brown background.  To make it more exciting and trendy, the sharp and sleek font style presented  not just the product name, but also all other information regarding the product in a very clean, clear and visible manner.

 One factor that really influenced the way we packaged this product was cost effectiveness, we wanted to ensure that packaging these screws could be done at a lower cost. This is ultimately what led us to using cardboard brown as the main color of the package and generally minimising the use of other flashy colours. Not only did it bring down the cost but also made the package look more robust and strong.
 Even though we did keep the cost in mind, our team very successfully created a package that is trendy and cool.
