A series of drawings of milkweed, initiated by a hike in a field full of milkweed. Soon I gather some near my home to study, and friends were sending me photos of milkweed to sketch. My intention was to understand the structure of a milkweed pod enough to make a graphic representation of it, simplified yet with some accuracy. 

To better learn animation with After Effects, I animated one drawing - first re-creating it in Illustrator, making layers, and then animating.
