This project’s goal was to arrange information for events at Golden Gate Park and to incorporate a clear type hierarchy.
The events were organized in chronological order and placed into 3 columns. The dates and times, shown in Clarendon Bold, were placed vertically to mimic the rotated 2019 in the header, the dotted lines between events, and to further define the columns. The event names were set to Scala Sans Pro Bold to emphasize their role as titles, while locations were set to the thinner and less visually imposing Scala Pro Regular. Both Clarendon and Scala Pro were chosen for their serifs, which have playful tilts to them. The entire poster has a circular theme, as shown with the dotted lines and decorative circles in the background, to convey a certain amount of playfulness. There are circular badges that also follow this theme and display any age or cost restrictions.
