A family mansion in Bologna mixing classical style and contemporary accents
Each family is a complex of tastes, personalities, preferences, habits and histories that could lead to completely different solutions once you have to redesing the spaces where its members will spend together their life. This family mansion in an ancient palace in the center of Bologna (Italy) is the result of a work of balancing these differences between all the family members into one and only concept mixing all them with the practical needs of their everyday life. The couple commtting me this interior design project asked in fact on one hand to reveal the classical spirit of the building but at the same time expressed the wish to erase the former layout finding new solution in order to feel a completely new, young and contemporary vision.
