Promotional Design - CreativeHub 1352
Volunteering for CreativeHub 1352 at the Small Arms Inspection Building allowed me the opportunity to design promotional material for their 75th Anniversary "Back to the 40's" event on May 25, 2019. The idea was to celebrate the role of the building in Canadian history by remembering the past.
Some brainstorming and ideation of an overall look.
Anniversary banner decal design.
Drive-by sign designs exploring graphics, colours, and layout. Rosie the Riveter was a figure that the board wanted to highlight, a memorable historical figure that stood for women's rights in history.
Seafoam green and rust orange were two colours that were prominent in our marketing. Below is my personal favourite iteration of the drive-by sign.
I found the poster design challenging due to the large amount of copy text, but eventually we decided on a vintage aesthetic with muted colours.
Final poster design!
After the event, I helped with some additional social media graphics, pictured below.
The next occasion, a beer-tasting event meant to be held in early 2020, fell flat due COVID-19. However, I did do a bit of brainstorming for their vendor application cover.
