Naut is an imaginary hair care product family with walnut aroma. The design idea is to transfer some features of the walnut to the packaging in an abstract way. In this respect, the form is inspired from the curved structure of walnut, which originally served to store genetic information. The curves on the packaging define surfaces/layers for primary and secondary information, while strengthening the structure. The taste and smell are reflected as earthy tones and minimal graphic style, creating a contrast with the form.
The premium special edition was inspired from black walnut, which has a rougher structure with sharper taste and smell compared to the regular walnut.
