The lockdowns necessitated by the Covid-19 pandemic caused a variety of hardships, which include financial devastation for large and small businesses, families, and individuals. To overcome the feeling of helplessness, many people began donating their time and resources to instill a little hope and joy in their communities. There are numerous ways in which New Jersey residents might consider volunteering their time or resources.

The non-profit organization was started by and continues to be operated by women concerned about the community’s welfare. The Connection welcomes individuals of all ages, genders, economic backgrounds, and races to help others obtain skills, build self-esteem, and gain a sense of respect for one another. Individuals are invited to donate their time to one of the many projects funded by the group or simply offer monetary assistance.
