Brief

A person who’s story is worth telling creates the theme for this project. The book dealing with this person’s story requires original text with information gathered in in-depth interviews, along with imaging components that are originally executed to fit and contribute to the concept and narrative structure. Any visuals to help whether it is photos, journals or even handwriting, all elements together help to tell a full story.

Rationale

This book is about Louisa Johanna van Rensburg, the grandma I am named after. Her life story is very unique due to the relationships in her life, from her husband and sisters to all three of her children. Louisa is 79 and lives with her daughter. Her life has been bumpy mainly due to events she had no control over caused by the various relationships in her life.

The purpose of this book is to not only share the very interesting life story of Louisa, but for people to learn from her mistake and listen to the advice she has to offer when it comes to life and relationships.

The book is written in the gossip genre as many people in Louisa's life has lots to (far more than she has) and her simple yet powerful words are always kind towards even the worst of people.
