• ORIGINAL BROADWAY PRODUCTION - Guys & Dolls was nominated for 5 Tony Awards, and won all 5 including Best New Musical. It ran for 1,200 performances.⁠

• MOVIE - Several of the songs were cut from the film, but were featured in the movie as background music. Among them are "A Bushel and a Peck," "My Time of Day," and "I've Never Been in Love Before". ⁠

• BROADWAY REVIVAL - The Broadway Revival of Guys & Dolls opened on April 14, 1992 and ran for 1,143 performances The revival was nominated for 8 Tony Awards, and won 4, including Best Revival.⁠

• NATHAN LANE - Nathan Lane was originally named Joseph Lane, but there was already a Joseph Lane registered with Actor's Equity. So, he changed his first name to Nathan, after playing Nathan Detroit in Guys & Dolls in a New Jersey dinner theater in the late 1970's. Nathan Lane went on to play Nathan Detroit in the 1992 Broadway Revival. ⁠
