Living Values and Behaviours
The ‘Living Values and Behaviours’ was commissioned by the Workforce and Development Directorate at Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust. The Trust developed and introduced a number of pledges on staff commitment to patient care. A number of posters were designed featuring members of staff, to promote the pledges around the Trust. The staff were asked to pose for portraits that were combined with images of them performing their duties.
Underneath the portraits, commitments from the staff are listed which relate to the pledge they are promoting. The aspirational poses of the staff were chosen to help inspire other staff members, in order to develop and support a culture of care for amongst staff at the Trust.
Six staff members were selected, one for each of the Trust Values. The portraits were combined in photoshop and given a gradient overlay to ensure that together they were a coherent style. Brush strokes were added at the base of each portrait to tie the set together and give space for text to be overlaid in InDesign.
