The Eldest Daughter Artisanal Bourbon packaging is intended for a young woman to share with her dad. Bourbon is stereotypically a masculine drink, which is why I chose it for a feminine brand. I wanted the label to be feminine without perpetuating antiquated ideas of femininity. While designing, I thought about what type of label a contemporary young woman would pick at the store because she wanted to impress her dad but also because she was attracted to the design.
