To celebrate Indonesia's 75th Independence Day, Kementerian BUMN (Indonesia's Ministry of State Owned Enterprises) and Masker Untuk Indonesia (a charity organization in Indonesia who distributes masks to those in need) held a mask design competition called 17anVirtual Mask Design Competition.
This winning design is not for sale and will be distributed to organizations or institutes that are in need in Indonesia.
TRANSLATION
My design shows a happy pair in a traditional Indonesian attires going through a finish line first in a running race. With this design I want to remind my fellow Indonesians that even though we are going through a pandemic that requires us to always wear a mask and do everything virtually, we can all still push through and win together in the end.
To celebrate Indonesia's 75th Independence Day this year, I hope my design can inspire Indonesians to keep their independence and Pancasila (Indonesia's official, foundational philosophical theory) spirits up.
