In this installation I explore the tendency of human beings to ascribe seemingly inexplicable phenomena to an otherworldly source. Through adopting the persona of a conspiracy theorist who years for acceptance in the extensive alien subculture, I have also learned about my own fascination with the supernatural. During my exploration of this character I have staged several alien encounters, including UFO sightings and crop circles. These “experiences” have been chronicled in blog format, which, along with my character’s workshop/living space, re-created in the gallery setting, is available for the viewer’s perusal.
