Logo sketch explorations were created to narrow down the approach. The raptor's shape was heavily inspired by hunting ospreys that I've seen in the wild as they hurtle towards their prey. The bird was meant to be captured mid-flight to convey a sense of motion and energy while representing an interplay and overlay of the M & F letterforms.
The gorgeous and elegant typeface, Eksell Display, was carefully selected to perfectly compliment the sharp intricacies of the bird of prey's mark such as the falcon's talon, beak, and wings.
