The Chinese Art Centre was celebrating its 10th anniversary and their new identity CFCCA with an amazing zombie-themed party. I was invited to perform in a cabaret presentation where I combined using live performance with video documentation. The opening event featured a preview screening of Cao Fei’s new film ‘Haze and Fog’, and live performances.
Versus, Rogue Project Space, Manchester, 1 February 2013
Manchester took on Lincoln in a fight of art and performance, with the brief set by Manchester/Lincoln straddler Andrew Bracey. Ahmed & Carpenter invited artists Brian Mountford, Nicola Smith and Magnus Quaife to help them secure a win. On the right side of the space where the Manchester artists and on the left the Lincoln artists as the evening unfolded a series of performances happened. The audience voted for the winner and although the giant red balloon nearly took it, Lincoln where the winners.
