This inktober I decided to a little series of illustrations of this character(haven’t thought of her name yet though) that I frequently keep sketching and her solo journey through lands unknown. The world today is such a horrible terrible place with rampant misogyny and patriarchal oppression, this constant feeling of not being safe, or of a possibility of someone creeping up following or harassing is exhausting. But it does give me hope that we all collectively in our own ways are fighting against inequality and injustices. Retorting vehemently and dissent is all we have. Never ever back down! Together in our struggles we are strong and powerful:) I have poured my wishful utopian thoughts in this series..where she, with her two little humming friends, without fear can travel to lands and discover enchanting things, where she is isn’t afraid of anything but they are afraid of her.
