This is a commissioned work for Solidarity Center, and the International Center for Research on women about the benefits of collective bargaining for women.

In Morocco, similar to other nations, the informal economy sector such as agriculture employs the least compensated laborers. As a result of the inadequate enforcement of national labor laws and regulations, the rights of workers are frequently violated. These employees typically work extended hours, receive salaries below the minimum wage, and seldom receive retirement or other benefits that are promised by national laws. Women, who are frequently the most vulnerable and poorly compensated agricultural workers in many value chains, are particularly susceptible to sexual harassment and other gender-based violence at work.
The research aims to investigate the advantages of collective bargaining arrangements for women and analyze how their involvement in collective bargaining within this field can affect these outcomes.

Location: El Maassar, Brahim Zniber in Ait Harzallah of Meknes city.
