(Hot air) under pressure
The one in the middle is my public face. It has no special traits and that is why it is good and adequate. Its features reveal nothing of my emotional state. And for the better - I don’t want to scare anyone with such disclosure (and such disclosure scares me).
But why does it look so fragile and unstable? Especially compared to the sturdy and shapely masks of the others.
Does anyone else feel like this?
Maybe I should talk to them...
The installation "(Hot air) under pressure" is inspired by a comic I did a few years ago and was specially created for "1m2 Art".
„1m2 Art” is a project of the curator Martina Yordanova in collaboration with TAM – a venue for meetings, events and exhibitions in Veliko Tarnovo. The project presents artists from the contemporary Bulgarian and international scene in the boundaries of a space around 1m2.
