Vintage Sports Cars for Your Second Childhood

I wrote this website for Volante Classics, a new vintage car sales and restoration company in Salem, Massachusetts, started by two enthusiasts. The site design and copy was targeted to sucessful middle-aged men who wanted to acquire the memorable sports car from the 1960s or 1970s that had caught their attention when they were younger.
Volante Classics was not intended to be a restorer of very high-end classic cars (e.g., Mercedes-Benz "Gullwing" coupes or rare Ferraris): the market for that level of car is already well-served by several well known companies. Rather, Volante focuses on sporty and well-built "middle-tier" cars from Italian and German manufacturers; the cars chosen for import and restoration generally have one or more unique aspects — competition pedigree, rare coachwork variant — that sets them apart and makes the cost of restoration work worthwhile .
Because this company launch project was done on a strict budget, my personal knowledge of these cars and their historical background was very useful in helping reduce the amount of time spent on research and on interviewing Volante's principal restorer, Roberto Donati.
