Family Portrait is the process of wanting to tell the story about people separated by time who are nevertheless deeply connected. The recreation, through photographic intervention, of my mother's memory. It was considered appropriate to develop the photographs, most of which were 10x7cm in size, from Screen printing. This technique was already used by my mother while she was working in a clandestine printing house where they printed leaflets or books that were banned by the Francoist dictatorship.
Family Portrait es el proceso de querer contar la historia acerca de unas personas separadas por el tiempo que, sin embargo, están conectadas de forma profunda. La recreación, mediante la intervención fotográfica, de la memoria de mi madre. Se consideró oportuno revelar las fotografías, con un tamaño, en su mayoría, de 10x7cm, a partir de la Serigrafía. Técnica que ya usó mi madre mientras trabajaba en una imprenta clandestina con la que imprimían octavillas o libros prohibidos por el régimen franquista.
