CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
The first scene of the music video was two masked people opening up the red curtain. We had to build a scene that ends where the first scene starts. The theme of the music video resembled a circus or a costume party. The concept building started with the general theme, gathering relevant elements and trying to organize them in an interesting manner.
ITERATIONS AND EARLY TRIALS
In the early stages, I was looking for a surreal scene, later the surrealism turned less abstract and more objective into a theatrical scene on stage.
TYPOGRAPHY
The Type Design was a challenge because I wanted to create something that doesn't contradict with the rest of the scene, yet compliments the circus spirit.
100 Wesh means in Arabic Egyptian Dialect, 100 Faces, hitting on the phrase "Two Faced Person". The typography has a lot in common with circus graphics exchanging the white color with Yellow to stand out.
Final Work
After a number of edits, fixing the balance and adding good elements for motion design, we came up with a final decision regarding the colors, light and perspective. The Typography was situated and embedded in the center of the scene.
