Volgar Football Club
Volgar FC celebrates the 60-year anniversary in 2020. Dedicated to this event, a retro-looking style was designed. The original branding of club hasn’t preserved today, so we created 60's-style identity without reference to the original prototype.
The lettering was inspired by dynamic soviet calligraphy style and coupled with retro sport numbers in the shape of Astrakhan city sights.
Kits
The event highlight was supposed to be embodied as a retro game in spring 2020. Unfortunately the championship was canceled due to Covid-19 prior to the game date. The uniform design is preserved as a concept.
Merch
The retro collages set was created to introduce the official merchandise: one per each position as well as their combination in a motion teaser.
The collages were created with the use of original soviet paper scans so you can enjoy the unique textures. We are glad to share these scans with you. Feel free to use in your own projects – download.
