Nostalgia is a powerful thing. Being a child of the 80's I've always been fascinated with the designs of analog media, and all of it holds a special place in my heart. The design of cassettes and vhs tapes were always so full of variety and character. And I found a deep fascination with the custom labels that people would scrimble on their mixtapes. I merged this idea with some of the social issues of 2020. Plus I just find something interesting in the juxtapositioning of serious issues and use of bright colors.
