I wanted to make a design inspired by the series Mad Men which I have been watching recently. I found a style of poster that I wanted to create but felt that just using an image as done in the designs below wasn't really going to push my ability that much. I decided to take an image from the series that struck me as iconic and turn it into a minimalist vector design.
Poster Inspiration
This is the style of poster that I wanted to base my final design on but I wanted to make it a bit different

Here is the image I took to become a vector image. I put the image into Illustrator and made my design using this image as a guide. Below is the final vector design that I created.
I then took my final image into Photoshop and began turning it into a poster with information I got from IMDb. Below is a final design and a mockup of the design in a frame.
