MSU Graduate's Donation Made Entrepreneurship Lab

An Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, Larry Gaynor is the president of TNG Worldwide, a manufacturer of beauty products sold around the world. A graduate of Michigan State University (MSU), Larry Gaynor and his wife Teresa donated $3 million to the university in 2017 for the construction of a new Business Pavilion.

At the time, MSU was planning the construction of a new business center that would serve as a transformative place for future business leaders to learn, collaborate, and inspire each other. The institution planned to construct a $60-million, three-story building spanning 100,000 square feet next to the Business College building. MSU broke ground on the business center on Sept. 8, 2017. Two years later, on Sept. 27, 2019, MSU formally celebrated the opening of the Edward J. Minskoff Pavilion at Eli Broad College of Business.

The building has flexible classrooms, team rooms, an entrepreneurship lab, and a studio. It also houses an expanded career center for students, recruiters, and the school’s corporate partners.

Another significant addition to the building is the entrepreneurship lab. Located on the ground floor of the building, the lab has flexible space for hosting entrepreneurial business courses and group activities. It is also equipped with the latest technologies to empower young entrepreneurs starting in the modern world.
