Dramatic costumes inspired by "The Last supper by leonardo Da vinci"
As a final project for my bachelors i researched the painting the last supper and took the core idea behind it to develop costumes . There are 5 costumes. Each one represents a set of characters from the painting. The fabric used in this projects is denim as the endurance of denim is everlasting and denim is worshipped in every genre of fashion. Techniques used are screen printing and devour.
Devour is an old technique in which fabric is burnt with chemicals to create a destroyed effect on the fabric mostly its used for velvet fabric. but i studied its results on denim.
Color palette for the project was Blue , White , and burnt orange.
Each costume represents a set of characters from the depiction of christ at the last supper by leonardo da vinci.
