Being a young person in Nigeria feels like there is a target on your back. It's almost as if the country is designed to make you suffer. If the schools aren't frustrating enough, you have to deal with government policies that seem like they are designed to strangle you.

And as if that's not enough, the average young person cannot leave their house without being scared that maybe this is the day they will get harassed by a police officer, or worse, getting killed.

Young people exercised their right to protest and the government's response went from blatantly ignoring to sending law enforcement to shoot at innocent protesters and even went ahead to gaslight young people after doing so.

It begs the question, "Is this how you treat the leaders of tomorrow?" If we are all dead then who will take over?
