I worked on this project for when I was working for Office Twelve - A retail design agency. For the company's 10th Year anniversary I was asked If I could come up with an idea along with the Associate Creative Director to design a Gift for the Founder - Jon Paton. Since Jon was a keen skateboard (back in the day) it was decided we create a skateboard and laser etch a design onto it. The design was made to be as personal to Jon as possible with nods to his personality, hobbies, favourite bands etc. 

Here are a couple of inked sketches before I added it to Adobe Illustrator.

Here is the finished design, The majority was done with pen and ink, but some of the designs were created in illustrator.
