Quarter 1 Exam Project Sydney Meador (COPY)

SYDNEY MEADOR
Quarter 1 Project
My client for this project asked for a new logo for his company, "Health Food".This organization sells healthy food options like, fresh fruit & vegetables that do not have as harsh pesticides & chemicals as other foods from your regular grocery store. This project came to be because the company wanted a new, improved, simpler, & earthy/green themed logo. This project's success will be measured by whether the logo meets the clients expectations & requirements, how many more customers come into the store, and the number of clicks on logo to get to website.
The requirements from the client:
*Company's name, "Health Food"
*A design that goes the idea of being green & healthy
*Simple/ easy to interpret & read
The objective of the project is to make a neat & clean logo to attract customers into the store, making the goal to have more customers interact with "Health Food".
The target audience are adults around 25+ years old that are looking for healthier options for themselves or their families at home.
Many of my ideas came from my research on what logos best fit the category of nutrition & wellness. (See below)
Throughout the project there was not many setbacks or difficulties. I followed along the client's requirements & just went off there. Eventually getting my final project quite easily & quickly. The only tricky part I would say of this logo was getting the typography & alignment just right to be seen visually appealing to the audience.
To get this final logo, I added the slogan "Go Green" with the company's name to give the audience/reader a better interpretation of that "Health Food" really is, a green & healthy option for food. As well as I added a leaf hanging off the "N" to give a creative image to the logo itself. Overall the main concept in this logo is the typography & alignment of the slogan & company name.
