Blackbird was founded by Danny Bird to be the perfect residential home design solution for younger couples looking for custom without breaking the budget. While he is eager to help everyone, he particular loves to attract those wanting modern and bold aesthetics. I was asked to design a logo to portray this tone.
Integrating a birds eye view of a geometric bird with the letter B proved to be the most unique approach. Thick, simple lines mixed with strong typography helped solidify the modern, bold tone he sought.
