I have been working for SM Supermalls for more than 6 years now and this is the first time that a project I facilitated got an international award (woot woot!). It's also the first time we submitted our project to the Asia Pacific Stevie Awards. :)
Last year, we were tasked to contribute to the various innovation projects set per mall to keep it relevant amongst its shoppers. For SM Seaside City Cebu, it is quite a challenge to visit our mall due to the limited transportation options available but when people get to visit us, we noticed that most of our shoppers enjoy documenting their shopping days for online content so we thought it would make their content more exciting if we had a customized sticker pack according to their liking.
So me and my team pitched in and made a couple of drafts until we had a complete pack of studies for vector rendition with our chosen local agencies. We are fortunate enough to have worked with equally passionate and creative individuals who helped us ensure our ideas would come out exactly how we imagined them. We're also grateful for our bosses for the creative freedom they've given us for this project and most importantly the generous amount of support for funding both the layout expenses and entry fees for the Asia Pacific Stevie Awards 2020.
Even though 2020 is quite a difficult year for many of us, we are still thankful to be able to celebrate little victories that we'll carry on for the rest of our lives.
This project is truly one for the books!
