Moved by this beautiful quote from Carl Sagan, I created this illustration that depicts the famous photo from Voyager that caught a glimpse of the Earth in 1990 (see original photo below)...
Creation of this artwork was inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement and in commemoration of Juneteenth. The beautiful quote from Carl Sagan in response to the Voyager image taken of planet Earth is a beautiful reminder of how small we are in this universe and how we all share this pale blue dot equally.
